About Face Atlas

Face analysis that stays close to the evidence.

Face Atlas is an AI face analyzer that describes geometry visible in one photo. It is designed to show measurements, limits and photo-quality context instead of turning a face into a beauty, identity or health judgment.

What the product does

The free browser tools measure focused questions such as face shape, eye-corner angle, visible symmetry and facial ratios. The full analysis expands the same photo into 14 chapters covering photo quality, shape, proportions, feature measurements and optional style directions.

Each measurement is tied to named facial landmarks, a defined calculation and a validity rule. If a photo cannot support a measurement, the tool should withhold it or ask for another photo rather than inventing a value.

Why explainable measurements matter

A label without evidence is difficult to evaluate. Face Atlas keeps the visible result near the measurements that produced it, including the direction of a ratio, the landmarks compared and the photo conditions that can change the outcome.

Reference ranges are authored product comparison bands. They are not ideals, medical standards, attractiveness rankings or population percentiles. The golden-ratio tool explores proportions; it does not calculate a universal beauty score.

Privacy boundaries

The free geometry scan runs in your browser. The selected photo, landmarks and free result are not uploaded to Face Atlas servers for that scan. The browser downloads the public face-landmark model required to perform the analysis.

Cloud processing is separate. Before paid AI features use a portrait, the checkout flow explains the processing and asks for explicit consent. The current handling, retention and deletion choices are documented in the Privacy & Facial Data Policy.

What Face Atlas is not for

  • It does not identify a person or verify identity.
  • It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or health advice.
  • It does not determine attractiveness or define a scientifically perfect face.
  • It must not be used for employment, credit, housing, insurance, education or other consequential decisions.
  • Results describe one photograph and can change with lighting, pose, expression, lens distance, obstruction and image quality.

Corrections and questions

If a public page is unclear, a measurement explanation appears inconsistent, or you need help with a report, email [email protected]. Include the page URL and a concise description. Do not email a face photo unless support specifically asks for it and you are comfortable doing so.
